what about those who aren't rich ?
what about those who can't spend so much time playing ?
maybe if there was no chance of failing then it would be kind of okay to have it at that price
but I think 500k to craft is still a lot

Well for doing those aps you have to unlock m5 first and doing that you are farming m1-m4 and don't tell me you don't get some gold there. You can sell condensed dark for example they went up in price and like 5-15k per map in gold is ez to farm even without gl. So actually its ok for crafting. And I did those aps yesterday by myself and the only way you can fail is that smb doesn't use his totem dc or you die. Actually if you don't die you can't fail that ap.
