Plat Weapon Gamble
Are your chances of getting a plat weapon at level 21 that slim? I had 60+ plat which i bought for $11AUD, i had almost 10 tries at a plat weapon coz its on sale but i didnt get any smh. Is it because its on sale or is it just badluck?

I've never been a huge fan of this whole gambling thing. Cool weapons/items are advertised, but when you go and buy them you usually end up with useless crap instead.
I already informed support about this too. I also asked them for more 'transparency' so you get a real idea of the chance you have getting the item you want (for example: 10% to get item x). The reason being that it apparently causes much frustration among players.
But, then again, STS is a business and they'll probably have their reasons to keep the system as it is

Dead set. I too, reckon there should be more information about your chances of landing the weapon as well.
It is what it is but. Yeah If that's their way of making money, so be it.

I tried 25 times to get the electric headsman. So you can guess how low the chances are..

Was this for level 21 as well? I was misled by my level 20 plat weapon i guess. I got it my first try and I thought it was like 50/50.

I am boycotting gamble packs. I will support the devs by buying plat weapons when they are available individually but won't be purchasing any more plats until then.
Yeah, I reckon thats the best option they could offer. I don't think they will ever do that though. If they did, its gonna be heaps expensive and think it would not come with the extra gems(pretty sure people are after the weapon but hey, plat gems are a pretty neat addition to your arsenal.). I'm speculating here but thats just what i think. It would surely be the best deal for those who failed to get the weapon more than x times.

I got the ecliptic in 2 tries and the level doesn't matter but they are lvl21. Chances are suppose to be low it doesn't mean you won't get lucky here and there.

Yeah Im not buying the gamble packs anymore. I have tried a few times without getting what I wanted. I wouldnt mind if I was just gambling with gold but since I am spending rl money I would rather buy the sure thing. I would even be willing to buy a gamble pack if I could see what I might get, but the few times I did buy them I got green gems and weapons, which imho isnt worth rl money.
