Are dagger mages any good like dagger birds?
I would say they would be the same but I highly discourage using daggers. They don't do much damage and Mages aren't good for fighting up close unless you put everything in Strength.

I've seen l56 Glyph Dagger mages do great in pvp =p

Dagger mages have less skill damage than wand mages and need to fight close. Not best idea for a 400 health mage but could be a new and fun experience.

Yeah, I was pretty good as a level 56 glyph obe set mage, name was iipvppp, I suggest 6 debuff to make them do less damage as you will see having 400-500 hp is well...squishy. The dps, crit, hit %, and damage is very high, I have found that birds have close to no chance, bears just need to be debuffed pre combo, and I suggest trying to late shield or kite int/dex mages, and if dagger mage fails use xbow.
