THE POCKET POEM SLAM
The Pocket Poet Society (aka Ambassadors of Alterra) invite all of you amateur poets to a new type of event. We have seen how many creative artists we have on the forums. Now show us your creative poetry skills.

PRIZES:
1st place: 60 plat
2nd place: 45 plat
3rd place: 30 plat

RULES

• Can be about anything Pocket Legends related
• Must be at least 4 lines and 30 words
• No more than 12 lines and 100 words
• Only 1 entry per person (You can edit our entry until the contest closes)
• The poem must rhyme

There once was a bear so fat,
To pwn his enemies he sat,
One day a bird,
Stupid but nerd,
Taunted the bear and got flat.

When I receive a purple my heart begins to sink
Because with you I know it could have been a pink
Work and school do not give me enough time to play
So to remain competitive I download worthless apps each day

Pocket Legends, Star Legends, Dark Legends,
Oh how all three deserve some attention.
Each composing of perfects things an MMORPG needs,
We truly never know how far STS sha'll exceed.
In truth, Pocket legends is my game,
So please don't go off and flame.
If you wish to be a Legend's master,
then keep on leveling just a bit faster.
I may only be level nine,
but my time will soon shine.

Spacetime has made it possible in an alterrian theme.
The streets are hidden, not up and down,
at the speed of light, moving town to town.
First and foremost we are all legends,
thanks and great work, we all love pocket legends.

The first time I saw ya,

I got impressed by your beautifulness,
Shining all over the PL Alterra World,
That must have came from God bless,
Who reigns on the two Worlds.

Your green colored name,
Was fitting perfectly with your eyes,
Reminding me the sun rays,
When I was lost, looking for an aim.

You showed the way,
Illimunated my day,
Appeared like a beaming queen,
Piercing my skin,

To my heart.

What I was trying to say was that the poetry isn't about the rhyming. The rhyming stipulation is, I believe, so people have a format to base their work off of. Creativity rules the day!
