Defend the Arcanite Fields from Pulley Cogsmire and his army of gnomes. Claim the fields' bounty for yourself before the gnomes destroy all of the valuable natural resources!
The Arcanite Fields of Vardan Valley
Pulley Cogsmire is back with the gnome hoards to steal the fields' valuable resources, includingthe rare and exotic: Volcanium! Ward off the gnomes while collecting resources and Magmite Coins to earn vanities, furniture, and the Volcanium Stronghold guild hall.
Getting Started
The Volcanist is waiting for you in Windmoore and Vardan Valley to discuss the fate of Pulley Cogsmire after last year's failed attempt to loot the Arcanite Fields. Enter the energy portal nearby to be transported to the Arcanite Fields to begin collecting resources.
Join your friends and interact with each of 6 different node types: Mineral, Wood, Oil, Fiber, Arcanite, and the ultra-rare Volcanium to collect them. But, be careful! The gnomes want the resources for themselves! Knock them down and collect tokens that you can use for vanities and gear back in town.
Increase your chances of spawning rare Arcanite and Volcanium nodes by equipping an Arcanite Pet before you enter the area!
After mining enough nodes, the gnomes will call upon their boss and leader, the dreaded Pulley Cogsmire, to stop you once and for all.
Defeat him for a chance to loot some great gear, including Tempered Volcanium Vanity Armor and Helmet (tradeable),
recipes to craft Arcanite Shoggoth and Arcanite Werewiger(but only during the Arcanite Fields event),
The Volcanium Valley Valise locked crate (which contains recipes that allow you to craft Player House versions of event furniture), and a rare chance to drop lvl 76 Arcane armor, helms, and belts! These belts have a chance to grant the wearer +25% speed (stacking) and +25% damage resistance for a short time after an enemy is defeated.
Note: The Volcanium Valley Valise also contains trade-friendly Tempered Volcanium Vanity Weapons that can be used to create a three-piece Vanity Item Set with their armor and helmet counterparts. A glowing red aura indicates when the effect is active. There is a chance to spawn a Vanity Volcanic Eruption when defeating an enemy.
Crafting
After gathering the raw resources, head to the crafting station to refine your materials.
These refined resources will sure come in handy to create the Volcanium furniture set.
Need some fresh new digs for said furniture? You also have another chance to craftThe Volcanium Stronghold!
Tokens
Now, where to spend those tokens? Head back to The Volcanist to spend your hard earned tokens on:
- Recipes to craft Guild Hall versions of the Volcanium lounge, table and throne.
- An account-bound version of the Volcanium Vanity Set (can be stashed).
- A Resource Crate for extra crafting materials.
- The Farmer's Hidden Gold Stash and the Landlord's Lost Gold Stash with a chance to drop up to 50k and 100k gold, respectively.
- 3 Arcanite Pet Recipes. These can only be crafted while the event is active, so don't hold on to the recipes for too long!
The event will begin tomorrow, 9/2 at 1:30pm CT and run for 1 week until 9/9 at 1:30 CT. Happy gathering, Legends!

A Note on Crafting:
- Arcanite Pet Eggs can only be crafted during the event and while the event is in cool-down. You will not be able to craft these after the event is over.
- You can craft Guild Hall and Guild Furniture items after the event has ended (even after cool-down).
Expansion Sneak Peek!
Ready to see some new pets and their stats? The new Seahorse pet: Samson! There will ultimately be 3 versions of Samson available: Legendary, Arcanite, and Heroic. Samson channels abyssal sea energy to unleash devastating effects like knockdown and banishment, along with a passive ability that damages and slows.*
