Can a mage do Skratch Gun+Skratch Staff Combo After Update?

i can proc gun then staff, but i cant proc staff then gun.

Just tested with a mage I know, doesn't seem to work as it used to, well not at least the best way it worked as boss ripping machines. The two procs "may" overlap, but only for a split second, which in my imo is not enough to justify having both weps for switching purposes, unless of course the other one is for gl, luck, etc.
