It says it grants 250 rank points for completion of certain quests. Know it doesn't because I've turned them in and selected 250 rank points as reward and I'm at less than 200...think that quest grants 25 and the one that says 50 grants 5 but idk for sure I haven't double checked how much they grant.

Yea, i realised that. It says 250 rank points but is actually 25.

You have to open the chest , check your inventory.
