As far as I know Arcanite Samson is available for drop.

Heroic Thariel is also available, and I have seen a party member loot normal thariel Infront of me

Doesn't seem like a wise move to share something you aren't sure of.

If proud hasn't asked that ques, people would have understood from your statement of "as far as I know Arcanite samson is available for drop" as if it were actually true.

From announcement info it is suppose to drop only heroic, arcanite was sold in store for a limited time,

but maybe STS have change their mind?!
