House Loadouts

It would be nice to have loadouts for different house deeds so we can have them decorated and saved.

If adding just 2 load outs rn means the server needs to remember an additional 1k worth of info per character

=lag

I think the main reason for not doing it is the complexity involved. House item and position/orientation isn't difficult, it's dealing with edge cases like what if the user no longer has that item stored in the loadout? Where is it stored (db vs. device)? How do we deal with display cases and the items within them? Obviously we can come up with answers these questions, but a request like this tends to spiral out of control pretty quickly as you start working on it and that time may be better spent on other things that could be worked on.

Saving the layout to the app instead of the account would be much faster to implement, but then you couldn't take the data across devices.

I'll do some research into this now that I've seen how popular the requested the feature is.

skill point loadouts are saved on device too. at least that was true the last time i checked.

I mean why not, I hate to demolish a house that already has 400 house slots just to get a new one to start all over again. I mean unless you add a feature where the slots remain after you stash the house. That way, people can easily switch and choose the house design they want, without to overthink if they want the latest deed or not
