Dosnt work... You have to hoard exactly what manipulators are doing their work with...many good looking vanities are the same price or lower rn..also awake gems/elite gems have better increase/time ratio always unless there's some booty event or smthing which will never happen.

Honestly I have not noticed any price differentials lately with the economy. If items are rising then that means people are farming maps more often with the new mythics since they are fun to use which results in more gold being made. I am able to 1 shot the dragon in dm with my sword using ulti, I have wiped all 5 bosses in under 2 mins with the sword so thats my only theory. Take a look at the lv 81 map bars, they are filling up way faster than they were before so maps are being ran a lot more.

its simple math ,group of people will say that a item cost 250m . other people who have that item will wait for its confirmation and will say yes it does because they will be profited if its price is actually true . now those who had it wont sell because they see the potential on it and will wait for future, hoping to see its price reaching 500m . now demands get high because everyone wants to have expensive item with them either to flex or for self satisfaction ,but supply will be zero since none will sell until they are broke . then people will see other people wanting to buy it ,once a particular amount of time passes with 250m(fake price) it becomes the actual price . lie until its become true

All items cost what people are willing to pay.
Very few items tripled in price, very few items dropped by 2/3 of its price too btw. Deep marsh is an insane gold loot farm atm. Expansion maps are quite fast with mythics. Cakes add few gold to economy too. Manipulation is a thing but looks like pathetic attempts to me.
I like how everyone has a different opinion on this, but no one remembers this year’s Jarl— an event where some individual players farmed up to 500m of pure gold.

He said he was away for 2 weeks and jarl event was before that.
Jarl had boosted the economy with gold quick, and its effects were long-lasting. Notice how alot of things had rosed up shortly after Jarl.
This has always been the case with these gold mine events, similar to previous years' booty events, in which inflation rates of mostly vanities were significantly raised in such a short timeframe.

Running with 850% gl got me 1 mil in 30 mins-- >
Inclusive of remapping time and load times.
500m so takes me..
15000 minutes or 250 hours or 10 days of full time running.
Mind you 10 days out of 14 without sleep or eating or essentials.
Lol this dude I myself have 300gl and made 350m, event not only drop gold but also items that are worth millions.. Rings location, furnitures and other stuff imagine other who got higher gl and drop many items

Everyone in the game had the same opportunities to collect vanitys when they were cheaper for future profits Just like the so called "Manipulators" as their being called did. There is NO STS rule or limit against buying multiple vanitys for future sales and big profits. People are just angry that they didnt grind enough gold or have the vision that others did to make these investments.
I dont think he is talking about that but about specific groups who create fake threads, fake offers, fake accounts to strategically boost prices of individual items. When you actually try to sell/buy the item for their price you will recognize how many of those people do not reply or do not even own the item they are selling.
