Default Skyrocket the Debuffs at Level 7

There has been a lot of issues about over-powered nature of PVP, and I think part of the issue is that the buffs are over-powered compared to their countermeasures. My thought is that the debuffs really need a shot in the arm. I think Level 7 would be the perfect place, so it does not wreak havoc on twink PVP. Essentially, anythings that breaks armor should really smash armor, dodge debuffs should pound dodge (and should NOT be dodge able), and damage debuffs should cripple damage. I think this would put a lot more strategy back into PVP.

Sounds great! Debuffs need to debuff more.

Ill agree with everything except: dodge buffs should be dodgeable, undodgeable debuffs would impact pvp to much

With dodge values up at 75%, no matter what you ramp the debuffs to, if they can't hit, they are still useless.

my suggestion is automatically multiply everyones health points by 10 when they enter pvp. It would be one way to extend the battles out where everyone's not one or two hit all the time.

IMO, pvp will always suck in PL until the players decide for ourselves to do away with all this "say go" nonsense. DL ffa ftw!

Apollo mentioned a Mage's armor as a problem, and my first thought was bird break armor. I took a look, and break armor reduces it by 32 points. That does not even cover the 40 point buff, let alone the staggering mage armor, so raising the health points would not help in this case.

Don't get me wrong, 10X health would definitely help make it more of a match and less of quick draw contest

Just to bring up a possible problem. Thorn root at rank 7 subtracts 35 dodge. If debuffs were skyrocketed, would you be saying -45 or -50? And then they're undodgeable. What happens when three birds decide to rush a bear or it's just FFA and all of the birds use root on one bear? Then would they just instantly drop to 0 dodge?

One suggestion might be to keep DODGE debuffs (or possibly increase thorn root to -40 dodge or something) the same (I'm not saying all debuffs), however, decrease the chance of them dodging a dodge debuff. For instance, bears with 85 dodge would have a 45 or 55% dodge chance vs thorn root or another crushing blow, and birds with 80 or so dodge would have a 40-50% chance to dodge crushing blow or thorn root.

However, other debuffs should really be improved.

Not to mention skills like beckon should really be allowed to hit more, considering its the only skill bears have to rely on in order to bring their target in range.

In a 3 on 1 situation, you are always going to have imbalance. My point is that debuffs can't even counter the buffs, let alone put a dent in the stats given by the equipment.

As a life blood skill, it should be given a higher hit built in. But to counter, perhaps root and ice could also be considered no missers.
