Imagine you change your name and dont like how it turned out and have to wait a month to go back. There are ways without disadvantages to avoid scammers.

I never knew if once you change your name if it goes back into the available names. Does it? I would guess not due to the trouble it would cause but im not sure. Anyone Know?

It does go back in available names.
The last time i've renamed, i put my older ign on an alt lvl 1 to avoid weird people who want to "steal" it hehe.
I did it after i renamed

On a personal level, yes I do care more about the fact that I won't be able to change my ign back for a month. Simply because I do not get scammed.

Ok now I found out how useless you are to get better at the game, nonsense that only happens 1 or 2 times in your life in the game, in exchange for letting the scammers go.

I think theres an other way to detect scammer, not only for changing ign restriction because they can pass the items to another account or character so no need to be angry and toxic here at forum, because its the fault of a victim i hate scammers and after scam the hop to another guild to find another victims the better is to report sts and take care to the items/gold and aware to the strangers that make you friend and begging/borrow first for small gold and items and then next they borrow a lot of gold and expensive items in game.

You guys are so mad at scammers, stop blaming others and look at the mirror how dumb y'all are for getting scammed it's your own fault in the first place, and plus botting is the major threat in the game not the scammers, you can just avoid scammers by being smart and stop typing these nonsense and blaming the devs.
