I'll be travelling to to Canada via Germany, and I'll be playing AL during my transit time.

Is there any chance of me getting banned for sudden location changes?

If you are doing nothing wrong, you shouldn’t get banned.

Should be no problem. I played AL at home via my wifi, on the train via my carrier, at work via work’s wifi, and at my friend’s house via his wifi. I also logged in from another state 5hrs away using Airbnb’s wifi.

I don’t do plat offers, my friend doesn’t play AL, no idea if anyone at work plays AL tho

I personally don’t think its too strict either…At one point I used 4 separate devices to play on one account in a span of a couple of weeks and I was completely fine

It should not be problem for you. I play this game for more than 8 years (with few long breaks) and never had problem with this.

I don't see why this wouldn't be allowed. As others have said, don't do plat offers to be safest. I had no problems when I went to Japan and Korea for vacation. The plat offers were def different over there, didn't touch them. It'd sad when I was at the beautiful scenary locations and was gaming away with their portable WiFi sticks

Playing while you travel (even if you travel all over the world) is just fine.

Rumors about getting banned simply for traveling come from the typical sources. Pay no mind. Players who abide by the terms have nothing to fear.

Absolutely with u on this, speaks volume indeed.

Have asked those who got banned and I think I found a similarity between the majority of them.

They mostly have something to do with platinum abuse.

They either
- did a plat offer, got rewarded more than once
- bought plat & got refund & still uses the plat
- have more plat spent than plat earned, obviously not possible under normal circumstances.

Other than plat related, it is mostly botting or scaming others, trading accounts, game exploit.
