Revert the boost mechanic for the last day of event

Please Revert the boost mechanic just for the last day of event so we can enjoy some skillfull driving for the last day
Tap boosting requires so much more skill, right now its all about who has the better ping
I have the fastest time in the game right now but I always loose against 50ping players to the first boost and in general pressing boost once in the straight is just super boring
with the old mechanic u had to time how often u press when and how much when for example coming out of a corner etc.

All I want to say is it would be great if u bring back the old boost mechanic for just one day so we can also have a comparison between both to see what is more liked
