why not make it a useful skill, and have it charge to the nearest target in front of you?

instead of sending you flying 2 screens backwards to a zombie, when you want to charge at the player right in front of you. hell blades is directional, why cant shadow dance be?

I'm afraid making it that way would make it an OP escape ability, accompanied with speed buff you'd turn into a freakin' ninja, although i understand your frustration, jumping to that damn zombie in the back out of the screen makes me wanna shoot myself, one of the reason's i prefer hell blade over it.

maybe make it ignore zombies in PvP? i'm not quite sure what would fix it.

an indicator of the nearest target would be nice too imo, like a small arrow under your character.

and i dont think they want to implement a targeting system in this game. i belive they want it to just be hack and slash like diablo. I prefer it that way tbh. and i also think that the zombies are there specifically to make you hate using shadow dance in pvp.

Not a targeting system, just a small arrow that points towards the nearest enemy, kinda like those small arrows at the edge of the screen that point towards your teammates, just under your character. I'd even do with another small arrow exactly the same way as the ones pointing at teammates and at the edge of the screen too but with a different noticeable color.
