Why does nobody talk about neptaris in pvp?
This has stayed under the surface of water(lol) for too long, and needs to be addressed. Why is neptaris so awfully bad both in competitive pvp and in fester arena?It is literally single target weapon and still deals 10 times less damage than polaris, that hits up to 3 targets, also neptaris’ proc duration was nerfed in pvp as well, while polaris was untouched. Please explain this phenomenon to me.
U have polaris as the better option anyway...proc that aura....charge throw axe ...then charge polaris...bam...successful hit.
Compared to neptaris where after a throw axe, the enemy can run and U cant do anythin about it

Main reason no one cares about neptaris in pvp is that pvp is a ghost town. Rogues have the same issue with daggers, mage with staff. You can run away from the proc. With wars they can run away from proc also but if you have axe ready you might hit someone. Even with Polaris I miss 3 out of 4 times trying to land the proc even with axe. For a laugh try to hit a stunned rogue with polaris. They still dodge 3 out of 4 tries.
Charged attacks can still be dodged so good luck. I don't see either weapon as a viable option long term, if people go back in pvp that is. As is it's irrelevant.
On this note, I hope sts make the eels MORE visible. It's sometimes hard to visualise the eel proc with all these auras from players and pets alike.
