Preview - The Last Valley Protectorate! An exciting new event comes to Arlor!

A fellow Arlorian needs your help! Mega-merchant Peylon Rusk has sold his home in Vardan Valley and is moving his family (and a massive trove of gold and Arcane items) through the mountains to oversee a new weapons forge in Kraag.

He's doing this because his mortal enemy, the mountain warlord Tokras Fel, has announced his intentions to arrest Rusk and seize all of his assets so that he can wage war against the Arlorians.

Peylon Rusk's daughter is in town to recruit players to protect the caravan. Protect the massive merchant wagon as it bounces along the dark valley trail.

How to Play

This is an energy based event. Speak with Rylie Rusk in Windmoore to collect a daily quest and get started.



Use one energy to enter the portal and begin the mission to escort Peylon to Kraag safely.



You'll run alongside Peylon's armored caravan and fend off waves of enemies along the road, culminating in a face-off against Tokras Fel himself.

It's a race against time to slay the hoards before the caravan can't take anymore and is destroyed, Peylon along with it.

Points will be awarded after each wave, along with tokens each successful run!

Tokens & Vendor

Each successful run will earn players Rusk Coins which can be spent at the vendor in town for but a sampling of the Rusk treasure trove.

Visit the store for a limited number of Massive Rusk Industry Crates, which will give you 3 Pulls for the items above!



Opening the Massive Rusk Industry Crate counts towards earning "Heroic Garlic's Essence," a 'guaranteed loot' item that can be used to craft Heroic Garlic's Egg during the event. A total of one hundred (100) opens is required to get Heroic Garlic's Essence.



This item can only be used during the Last Valley event (or during the cooldown). "Heroic Garlic's Essence" will disappear when the cooldown ends.

Loot

Defeat Tokras Fel for a chance to loot event tokens, the Mythic 81 Luck Artifacts, Heroic Garlic's egg, the Obsidian Wings...



...trade-friendly 'Magnate' vanity armor, helmet, weapons and the locked Rusk crate (1X Pull on event items)!

Only the color is different; the stats and proc for the bound LB Mythic 81 weapons are the same as other Mythic 81 weapons.

I don't see any point for people to use them in combat as there are better awakened mythic weapons in the market from the awakening event. People would just use them in town to flex, might as well make them as vanities?

Will the Leprechoblin sneak around during the event as it usually has or at least a Valley variant? This mob could have increased chances of looting hero garlic, obsidyan wings and Magnate vanity weapons.

Will we have a new luck based item this event?

Can we have Heroic Garlic essence be a guaranteed loot from unlocked chests too but requiring a higher amount of chests to open? Maybe 300-500 instead of 100 as it's on massive locks.

Rusk Generosity Crate can be opened even if we have capped any of the currencies that can loot? In the preview it only specifies Glintstone coins.

Is Rusk's Banner tradeable? In the preview doesn't specify unlike the other items (weapons/wings) asking to prevent drama.

Will we have new themed gear this event as well? Carnaval gear was kinda disappointing since armors and helms had really low armor stats and weapons drop rates were awful.

To be very clear: the guaranteed loot comes after opening one hundred (100) crates. The example in the image was taken after testing. I'll make sure to indicate this important detail in the post asap.
