First Names and Last Names
It's been 10 years and Arcane Legends is still using it's outdated naming system, it's frustrating you have to spend weeks to find a username that hasn't been taken and end up with something like 'ajdhdksk', what's wrong with being able to have a space in between names? Does it make the game more p2w or somehow affects the game play? Just wondering cos the current username system is useless and it'd be a lot better if I don't have to end up with a random name generated.
Use the dictionary and create verb adjectives, noun verbs, noun adjectives or use elements or something.
Runred, Sandydraw, Skyeating, Neodymium, Livingalive.
Or make your own words up. Contlearm, Carpinquell, Caimatizes, Apications Teleconation, Cybros, Psyshot, Oxymorphic, Stalogistrons, Pneuitems.
Pneu in english sounds like "New".

There was a time when I randomly checked someone's character, and their spouse's name had numbers (like Alvin12 or something).
I don't know if I was just hallucinating or something, but I'm sure I took a screenshot of it. I'll try to attach it when I find it.
I also tried to create a new character with numbers, and indeed you can as long as the name without the number is still available. However, it won't show as your display IGN and maybe it'll only show the number in the spouse display name (haven't tried this out yet).

Delete a character and it puts a number next to the name in guild log, lb list and spouse name. Idk about auction.

And also with the system automatically attaching a number to a deleted name makes it so that the name is available again?

releasing dead igns would be great
it would be cool to actually mention the date of this name freeing thingy when you decide/if u decide to do it

I like the idea but why is no one mentioning the fact that scriptkiddies are going to make bots/code/ect to snipe names

Yeah that's the only catch to if a date or list was ever announced before said IGNs was ever released again.
Always possibilities unfortunately that soon as its mentioned someone will sit there with a script and snipe as many names as possible and next you'll be seeing them advertised for sale all over the "black market".
Or worse have an incident where people were using IGNs similar to other players and using it to trick/scam unsuspecting players (last that happened was some good years ago but when you've been playing long enough unfortunately end up seeing a lot and learn just want some people can be like)
Cool idea but if ever anything was to come to fruition concerning releasing old IGNs then it could be done completely incognito at least and done in small portions periodically or just not done to try limit as much backlash as possible

Got to have an open mind. Sts probably won't release banned igns. If some people were banned, others could come and take those out of nowhere and take the credit of the people who got banned and go around possibly scamming others, especially an ign like christmaztown. It would be a disaster to say the least. I have multiple friends who are banned. I don't want those names walking around. "Hey, Farm is that actually you?"Hey Greed? Is that you?". But if it was old igns let say guys who haven't been on for maybe 5+ year's ide say that's almost a guarantee that you won't come back and those names are long LONG forgotten and I don't see a reason to not let those go. But banned names are banned for a reason those are "bad names" sts does not want "bad names" walking around. They were banned a reason. Honestly, I don't even know why I'd ask such a question, but I answered it myself
Also just adding. If they were to release banned igns that would raise the question on why sts banned alot of igns that they thought were deemed inappropriate. I'm sure it's a bigger deal to release banned igns then you and I think
