Fake "doubling money" schemes

In the past few days I've seen more and more of the "doubling money" schemes going on in blackstar. They say they will double your money if u give it to them. In the end they take all your money and you are stuck with nithing but trying to ask sts ti get it back. All I have to say is don't fall for it. If it sounds to good to be true then 99% of the time it is. Sts has way more important stuff to focus on like new updates and solving real problems like bugs; but all I see these days are people crying they got scammed and sts probably getting hundreds of these emails, stopping them from solving real problems like bugs and what not. I hope this helps people not try those schemes. And hopefully help sts out even if it is in a minuscule way.

Use the in game report functionality to let our Customer Support Team know about the jerks trying to scam and we'll take care of them. Thank you!

I try to help as much as I can but I thought I'd let people who don't know, so they will know and hopefully lower amount of scams

Yes I have seen this very much lately,indeed it is a scam.To test it out I gave them 1 cred and said hehe try to double it.He ran away with 1 cred and is soon to be banned.Was it really worth it to him?This same double thing used to happen in PL about 3-5 months ago.It is just a scam,don't fall for it.

The amount of people doing this is rising in Pl also, and this is one of the many reasons I quit Runescape, but PL and SL aren't as large and is easier to contain the scammers. So therefore, I do not see myself quitting any STS games anytime soon!

Yeah I have been seeing these guys for a while But now it's been getting crazy. Just report them and hopefully the problem will go away soon

A long time ago I used to double my friends money.Lol,not really I was rich at that time and was just giving them my money lol.They knew i wasn't gonna do anything.

If you really are gonna fall for that maybe you shouldn't handle your money. That's like going on the street and this guy tells you he'll give you a $20 for a $10. If you fall for that it's your own fault. Of course still report the scammers, but at least please have the common sense not to fall for it.

Why double your money when they can just TRIPLE it!?!

In all they deserve to be banned. Our handiwork is shown with more people complaining on Facebook about being banned for 'no reason.' Personally I'm more at war with the selling guilds scams.
