Question regarding Egg hunt

As the upcoming event is Arlorian egg hunt I think many players would like to know about is :-

Are those egg machines considered as mobs or as bosses if the map design is gonna be the same like last year’s
And will double boss loot elixirs have any impact or will they be effective on them.
