Just started playing the expansion and what's the deal with kamikaze crabs?

I keep dying to them and I don't know if there's a way to counter them. Can someone help out

you can oneshot them or with speed set run towards them and run away.. sometimes they dont explode

Use invincibility skills

With mage i use the shield with the 2 second invulnerability upgrade or with war you can use the heal horn invulnerability skill as well

As a mage you can also stun them using fireball/frost and shoot from the distance
