Whats the chance of dropping a purple egg from these machines cinco / other devs?
I question this because I broke 1 plat machine and 3 purples with 104% luck on and did not reroll a single plat egg. Just curious what the chance of dropping a purple egg without reroll from these machines are. Careless about not looting a plat egg, just thought plat machines had a 100% chance to drop atleast 1 purple egg which would reroll into plat.

I keep it active when running the event I will look at the top to see which egg was broken, been recording all my runs to post on yt later if I feel like editing.

Same bro i played like 30runs with the squad plat tier got only 1 plat machine 2 purple something like bronze or silver can get which makes me think plat tier is a big scammaz unless you run lb i do have 100% luck also consistently, so im curious if they can explain how does it spawn because its really hard to get plat eggs after nerf so atleast maybe buff plat tiers idk

Purple is a legendary item. A re-roll would let the system roll another item from the same lootable. If it chooses the same rarity or lower, it retains ur initial roll. 100% luck doesn't necessarily mean you re-roll to something better in this case.

But it is still better having 100% luck as it gurantees you re-roll everything that drops from those machines - more chances for plat eggs from purple/plat machine.

Idk if machines are considered as mobs, but it is also possible for mobs to have multiple lootables , and also possible that plat egg might be in a seperate lootable - In which luck has no effect on these.

This is alrdy true for vial drops and for End/Taint pcs from Hugthulu/Prime

I have 30% luck, purple machine 11, platinum machine 9.. and i got a total of 7 platinum eggs.

im not sure how luck affects the loot because ive ran 0 luck, 3 purple 1 plat machine and looted 3 plat eggs

If you ask me luck doesn’t matter but we use it for the correct feeling.

Luck is only good for in maps gear loot and chests at boss also pet eggs.

Yea thats what i felt abt luck too, We use jus to make us feel like we have the best possible loot pool. Gotta stack that 100 luck to feel good

Drop chances have not changed since the event was conceived in 2015. If you've played the event in previous years, it's the same.

With all the respect something just doesn't add up.

I remember playing Easter event when machines were colored and plat eggs dropped from purple/platinum machine in like 50% cases of not higher. Once I even got 3 plat eggs from one machine. And it was almost guaranteed that at least someone in a party of 4 will get a plat egg.

Now, like OP pointed out, it is common to break many of those machines without any single plat egg drop. Not only for me but for everyone in my party.

Cost wise it was 150-200k per egg back then vs 400k+ now though I am not sure whether it is because of changed rarity of inflation.

Maybe the drop rate hasn't changed but I feel like the plat machine spawn rate has decreased. It's all good though. Rarity just increases its price. Players that farm still don't notice much of a difference. Also I bet the price nowadays is affected by many things. Hoarding, inflation, drop rate.

With all due respect, this is all false.
The first event with the machine system was in 2018.
Prior to that the eggs dropped from mobs and were crafted and stuff like that.

I have played every easter event since then.
And regarding the drop it is worse than last year.
Not only do they not drop plat eggs, the platinum machines are not seen.
In +200 runs I have broken 12 plat machines and no plat drops from them.
I've only dropped a couple of plat eggs, from purple machines.
Something else must be interfering with your event perhaps...

Just because you have 100% luck doesn't mean you will automatically reroll a purple egg into a plat egg. Most of the time you would reroll a purple egg into...a purple egg

I don't use luck and this year looted more plat eggs than last year.
I also saw others looting plat eggs, one player looted two one after the other.

I have 104% luck too.
I met 17 purple and 14 plat machines, yet got only 2 Plat eggs.

Some people said luck will make Plat egg reroll to purple egg. So you get more purple.
I know this shouldn't be true but my extremely bad luck, however, I started to question how reroll works.
