MY OPINION

SPECIAL HORN
- Everyone can see your message across servers
- Buy in store 100 platinum
- Special horn is 5 minutes long
- Special horn will be active for 5 minutes and can be overwritten by other players before the time runs out



EXAMPLE HORN USE ON MAP
TYPE YOUR MESSAGE AND OTHER PLAYER CAN SEE YOUR MESSAGE ON ALL MAP

Hmm why its useful ? I dont know why but got only negative vibes about this.

So what if 100people buy same time this horn?

Already screen is full of millions things , also i dont like to have chat on durring farming

We're against player global broadcasts. However, what may be better is a global "trader's" chat channel that you can switch to when you want and other like-minded players can do the same to broadcast what they're buying/selling. We'd need a throttle so you just don't spam chat to everyone on the server.

Please do that with 10min CD , to allow spammers and not hurt gold sink become from auction house tax

I think it should be a bit longer than 10min also make it so where people can't switch to an alt and shout the same thing to get around the timer

While it sound good, i'm against this as it will only empty towns even more, very few things still make people go in towns

Fully agree with Xuds, I would say 60min CD time for the global trade chat, so that
1. There would less likely be many repetitive sales messages every 10min, we get to see all new sales/buying messages at least for one good hour (If people are not already using multiple accounts like Xuds mentioned in game to circumvent the system or rules like they already do in forum selling trades bump limits)
2. People do not completely discard the purpose of towns or different cities chat, when they can only use it every one hour, the remaining time they have to use the city chat, which by the way partly addresses PatD concern. In fact to seal this argument, we can even go ahead to only allow users to use the global trade chat when they are in certain "trade zones" I..e all cities in Arlor.
