    Default Why Dodge is Useless now?

    Mostly in endgame map like zodias why we have higher dodge percentage? and we cant use it.. Class is useless lets say a warrior have high health and armor because its supposed to be a tank, and a rogue one is you know a like assassin type and focusing crit n dodge etc.. now its useless. this is sad.

    i tested in hauntlet melee monster still hits and i received damage.. i have 160%+ dodge so the mobs got higher hit percentage? how much mobs hit percentage then?

    Im pretty sure dodge is capped at 70-80%, having any over that doesnt help you.

    so they better fix the numbers in stats.. and let everyone knows about it that maximum dodge is 70-80%.. because we getting wrong information about 100% dodge thing..

    idk in other games basic attack can only dodge then skills still hit you, and if u have to dodge skill its called parry i guess?

    u becoming strong u geared up u hardwork thats why u reached 100%, in low level ofcourse u have low dodge.. i mean, u get what i meant to say? u strong now at least smaller monster/lesser monster cant hit u

    and one last thing as i see.. ngl in endgame the damage is not realistic and unbalanced.. it looks broken.

    If we had 100% dodge then every attack would miss us meaning we would be unkillable. Why would any game in the world have this?

    Maybe you are fighting monsters that use skills frequently? Run as a mage and then rog in the hardest maps and you will see its power regardless the number.


    Debuffs could come into play.

    im fine with 70% dodge but dont mislead people by false numbers.. i already posted it in bug section, i want them to fix it like this ~> Dodge (??/70)

    Yeah, I hate dodge. Its far from useless. In pvp rogues dodge my proc 70 to 80% of the time. Even stunned. Like other people have said dodge only works on normal attacks not skills. Unfortunately normal and charged attacks are all you can use with the mythic procs. I mean how on earth is a frozen rogue dodging anything.......

    In pve you're only dodging basic attacks and mobs are really the only ones that use those. I see the "miss" often when rogues are fighting mobs in zodias. So again not useless. Just limited.

    in other games dodge works vs basic and skill damage.

    this is a fact^ .

    a lot of arcane legends monsters typically deal skill damage. older content you should be able to dodge some stuff. in hauntlet monsters scale to your level.

    other games actually end up removing dodge from their game entirely because it ends up way to powerful.

    Example.

    path of exile use to have dodge and spell dodge but they ended removing it.

    sometimes removing mechanics when fixing a game is necessary. if the mechanic is to powerful it stops the game from innovating in certain areas.

    if they decide not to remove or rework mechanics in the game. the mechanics will start to repeat it self once it hits this wall.

    this is typically done for the ease of maintenance its because " Maximizing profits" is prioritized over maintenance. all games hit this wall eventually but good games have more layers. the bad games hardly have a layer at all.

    when games are to simplified they hit this wall. which is fine for the 1st two or three years of the games life. but any longer then problems start to arise. the solution to deal with these problems can also effect the game long term.

    your right, but some games dodge still works fine, like in ragnarok, you have to beat there stats let say player A have 100% dodge, so player B need to increase his hit chance or atleast have dodge debuff to damage the target. so increasing it to higher amout its not useless. thats why its funny to me when u have 100%+ dodge but dont really works... im fine now its their game they said the max capped of dodge is 70-80%, so i want to happen is in stats view they need to fix the numbers.. also in black dessert mobile the maximum crit let say 30% only.. so u will not add more the view of stats is like this 30/30
    someone commented on me 70/70 is 100% in dodge? really its 70% that means it still hits u but 70 not 100, 100 is no chance, but 70 have chance u take damage. so yea thats all xD forgive my english
