Most of the items being turned into vanity are not worth much at all as far as gold goes. Thats not the value im personally talking about. So your statement about us being scared the prices will drop is null & void. Its the fact that we have held onto something for years and years & like to have something few others have. its not about the value in gold or i would have sold my stuff already. Its alot higher than 1% im sure but either way... Its the Core year after year players that serve as the foundation of this game and any other that has stood the test of time. Im not asking for things to not be done at all, Im asking for a compromise on how its done.

All items that are rare need to stay rare. Ik people want rare vanities back, but there are alot of beautiful vanities out there that are not very expensive but usable. If u want rare vanities, try get one at the right moment. Btw STS said already they have a policy to not re-release old vanities again. If u want an vanity so bad, try get one that looks like it and have the same colors. I am sure STS will release an vanity what will make you happy about it. Vanities like BB - Maul - Kershal are meant to be rare. I dont want to brag, but don't cry about vanities to come back and that ruining the meaning of rare vanities.

Lmao, reading through this and seeing the amount of people asking for forerunner and some other extremely rare collectibles is absurd.
Why ruin rare collectibles by bringing them back as vanities? The rare collectibles symbolise AL's history.
Seeing hundreds of people running around AL with forerunner vanities is quite frankly insulting to collectors and OG players such as myself.
Like seriously... What do you want next? Flurry set? Betrayer set? Orange founder set? If AL release items like this, it will ruin their history and the collectible market.
Doing it even once will disappoint not only the people who have it but also
those who adore rarity and treasure discontinued items. Collecting is a big part
of the game and what makes those vanity special.
If they do that for true collector item, ie crier heralic, that means they will do it for
other vanities, any sense of that will bring no benefit but chaos as exclusiveness
is violated, even one violation can foreshadow thousands of times to come.
Ps. Theres a recolor of hera set called steel hera. Nobody use it because its not rare
you will think that way regardless of what that is if its everywhere, too

No reason to worry about discontinued, limited-edition, LB, ultra-rare vanity items coming back.
The event is clearly about taking great-looking equipment from old campaigns and making vanity versions of it.
I love the suggestions in this thread related to certain NPC weapons and clothing... and will be looking into that.
But there's no need to argue with players suggesting things that aren't going to happen.

@Cinco I had a retention in making some of those long posts where I express my feeling about my overall experience with your game because somehow I thought I ll just end up wasting my time without having a concretization of some of those ideas in the end. Instead of having those forgotten cool looking equipment pieces converted to vanities only for one week of event, I d rather convert the current useless equipment all over the game into some kind of shards of pieces and have an npc in every town that will sell some chests or vanities versions for each of those pieces. The grind should be serious but at least will activate some of the old maps that are no longer populated once people advance in levels.
For example the outdated Magma equipment and the affiliated weapons from Kalen in Expedition Camp could become vanity items instead, requesting a higher amount of currency to be obtained. Those items would become bound on equip. For the forgotten event I would choose to make available just those vanityes from older events as there are newer ppl that didn t had the chance to get them in the past. If in 2014 Ursoth event for example I people had the chance to get a vanity set for 3000 tokens or by completing the platinum tier, the grind in the forgotten event should be appropriate and make people choose to grind for one of the available items of the past and if they want to get all of them, either grind like hell or choose to buy the rest from other players that used the elixir you re selling and dropped the vanity. I don't see the point in having so many dead locations over the year and only one week of intense farming to get what other people spend a good amount of effort to obtain in the past.
