Instead of bringing back old equipment and calling them forgotten vanities why dont you set up conversion stations throughout Arlor or whereever for people that already own an item to transform it into a vanity. The vanities would hit the market fast allowing people to get their hands on them, noone would lose the value of their older collectables and it would take up less space on the servers. Just select some items you want to allow and have at it.
Just a suggestion.

That's alot better idea then to just make a vanity version of that item

Btw I have a big amount of gold invested in collectibles, but maybe for high end ones like heraldic or crier. If you were to do that idea. Give vanity owners the option to show the number of the level of what the armor, and or helmet was on the vanity. And the ability to turn the number on or off in options. Obviously the number would look nicer, that's just an example. That would be close to perfect for everyone involved. Owners and buyers.

Can we please have a vanity of the Foreunner? We've been begging since the idea of a forgotten vanity event came to be. Every player loves the looks of it, it's old Arcane Legends, and it's a perfect fit for this event!

It also be really cool if we could get the OG jester back. It was not leaderboard (as far as I am aware) and it's a very old and now rare vanity. I for 1 would love to see it come back.

You have long shared and held the right of a collector who lives the game by collecting certain rare items that are part of Arlor's history, to have your collectibles with their rarity tones intact. don't get lost in your principle for a few comments and likes on the post.. if you really want to bring these sets back, there are more rewarding and respectful ways, release the opportunity to make the vanity set only for those who already own the set, giving the right to keep it all these years.
and so they go to the market without losing their rarity that has been built for years and years.
I wanted to use a certain rare item? I wanted to, but I don't think it's fair to bring it like that and make it an extremely popular item and end the history built up over the years and beyond, just as I don't agree with bringing a set that was a pound disputed.
the item is rare and historic in the game, it has a value, you need to earn it and don't ask for it for free.


and speaking the truth, most sets when they become popular in oblivion only a few are actually used, we have several examples that I don't even need to mention, you would just kill the historical items and in the end, few would use because they became popular.

The 'Forgotten Vanity' event is on the horizon.

This event generally involves vanity versions of certain great-looking equipment from older campaigns.
We're likely to do this again when Forgotten Vanity resurfaces but we are open to other suggestions :-)

I agree. I see this event each year slowly but surely destroying the history of the old items. I know alot of people would argue that the items that have been turned thus far are no big deal and maybe so but eventually if this event continues there will be less and less of whats left of the past to share with the newcomers.make fun if you wish to but Ive been here a really longtime just as many of you have. Think long and hard on what this is doing to our story.

I think Jord staff, eloia bow, galen sword are more worth it for vanity.
because they (jord, eloia, galen) already have vanity vanity set armor & helmet before. So if sts releases vanity jord staff, eloia bow and galen sword into vanity will be even better.
