What to do for a mage to solo Fly/Hydra?

Hi all, I know to many strong players out there soloing fly/hydra is np at all. What kinda gear & stats do you need to be able to solo these 2 bosses as a lvl 81 mage? My hp is about 10k, dmg with staff abt 6k+ (with Hyperos 5k+) n dps 7k+, Armor 5k+.

Do I need ebon or abyss armor for defensive proc? Atm I'm using (n can only afford) tainted set, interred belt, peylon arti, arlo ring. What upgrades do I really need to fight these 2 bosses solo?

Proc skratch gun and switch to Aquaris + Ebon Armor loadout.

If all 3 proc together, orrick melts.

Other than that, you can also start with Aquaris proc and spam basic attacks from Hyperos.

Also, you can proc Hyperos and then hope for ebon armor to proc with it to completely destroy orrick.

All of these things require u to have haste and crit

So looks like I need at least an Ebon armor n Skratch gun? . Not using Skratch too am using Tainted staff. Is Ebon or Abyssal armor better? Can't afford aquaris atm

Ebon armor does buff same thing as abyssal, plus 50% haste, which is helpful for skills and fast standard attacks.

I use mire 6/6, I have about 14k Hp, 11k Dmg and 7k+ arm on that set if im all int.. skratch gun or staff and really any good pet. i mostly use Timur with Arc love HB and Glowstik AA but Ive used all diff pets. For me the mire helps the most. Oh and for some reason, standing on the right side of Hydra as your looking at him for attack works for me. Dont know why but it works when I do it. For Fly I move in a circle constantly around him when Im by myself. That seems to work for me too. I hope these things help.
