Armor VS HP
Armor versus HP. How do I choose? Is it better for me to go all out on HP with whatever my base gear amor stats are? Or should I balance it out more 50/50, or all out on armor? Asking this question in regards to pvp.
LVL 81 4/4 mage. I’m sitting around 12.6k dmg and 11k hp with my current setup.
I think armor cap is at 8.7k? Something like that. I would try to balance it out a bit. Not sure what you armor is but I’d try to get it above 7k if not 10k armor would be alright.

Currently @ 4.7k armor with 4/4 mythic, warlock AA, and pern speed set.
Mage should focus on armor more than hp in pvp imo

I used /stats option in chatbox and my armor always dont go above 4948 value while in character screen its above 5.1k. Even when i activated arc were and meph aa, the armor value shown after typing /stats in chatbox remained limited to 4948. So my question is where did the armor value max at 8.7k come from? Is that for warriors?
8215 is the armor cap, try to get 8k armor and 15k+ hp (prof ring + myth set), arc love hb. You'll be op.

Yeah could be but it works if you have high armor. And btw armor cap for 81 is 8.7k not 8.2k which gives 80% damage reduction.

8k armor for mage is op in pvp
it has been increased, I believe its 8.75k now, or somewhere close.
Every own Level has a Armor Cap, hp makes you Tanky, while Armor reduces dmg, going full Armor is kinda useless, espacially when you're above the cap, imo try to Mix it, idk for what you need Armor tho, PvP? Just try to Mix it, alot of people running heroic Leto in pvp And Go full Str as a war, because those 30% Armor will get you quite Close to the Armor cap
