Where is the Game Courtesy????

I would like to take a moment and give a sarcastic thanks to a toon for showing poor game courtesy who stole a my spot when I was switching my toon for a boss. As I was the run host of a open run we were pretty much at the whims of your game etiquette which apparently you have none. I do want to acknowledge that most of the people respect when you call full games have been awesome and I have met a lot of good people through pick up game runs.

Thanks for ruining a positive game experience for everyone else with your own personal greed. I doubt this a matter that STS will be able to help or solve as there are only two options to solve this which is password runs and run hosts. I do hope there could be other options that STS could explore such as being able to lock runs with password after the open run has been made or be able to transfer the run host to another person in the run.

i dont know if your not pass wording your game or running with a team then its fair enough that this happens your private game is just for you and maybe a team where as running an OPEN game means anyone can join as long as there is a spot, so really if your running an open game you cant really complain as much as it sucks.

Those kinds of thing happen a lot. It happens to me plenty of time and sometimes in guild runs, a guildmate would take my spot while I'm switching characters lol. But I don't really make a big deal about it. It's Summer, a lot more people playing SL now. Can't really control it.

Make a passworded game, and if you're going to leave to switch toons, don't be the host so someone has ability to boot and hold your spot.

You have yourself to blame for not doing it that way, people get booted from games for stupid reasons, no reason, or just because the host wanted to type "hahaha, find somewhere else looser!"
I personally wouldn't blame someone for joining an open spot in a game with no host or booting power, even when asked to leave. Too many jerks booting people and aggravating the situation, curtesy works both ways also.

Dunno if this was the testament encounter or not. If so:

I joined and your team said it was full. As I was about to leave someone said don't worry about it. The person wasn't online. I stayed. The boss died moments later.
Run with a password and don't host if your going to switch to a cooking elixir toon.
The mechanic exists for you to solve this problem. Furthermore communicate to your team so they know what is going on.

Lastly:
There is nothing I love more than joining a match and wasting a minute of an elixir I payed money on for the team to casually, without haste, ask me to leave. Sorry. Not gonna happen. Id much rather you take the initiative to lock the game appropriately and not waste people's time with " sorry we are full brah"

Dunno if its me you are talking about. If not, carry on. This happened to me yesterday though. And lemme tell you... I am not one to cause drama or be rude to people, but the circumstances of this episode... I am finding it hard to care.

Solution: host leaves or gets disconnected hosting n right to boot automatically passes to another player .... Pretty sure it used to b like that in pl but been a while since I played .
Unfortunately ppl do jus sit there refreshing on the join game list looking to join at bosses to maximise there elixir

Maximize my dollar spent. Blame STS for having a luck elixir to begin with.
Has anyone even seen a pink drop without the forced reroll?
I can tell you months and months of shipyard... I have never ever seen a 35 pink pistol drop without a luck elixr.
A competitive, efficiency maximizing community created by events most of us would rather not deal with.
The luck elixir, and the dumb rarity of non vanity items to promote their use are a stain on these games.
Casual pick up and play mmo my furry buttocks. Should change their mission statement.
