Too hard to sell anything.

Is it just me or is it too hard to sell anything? I feel like there isn't enough gold in the economy right now so no one is buying anything. Because no one is buying anything everyone is just getting bored. Also very hard for lots of players to get max lvl gear when there is no gold to get it with. I hate to complain but im having a hard time selling things myself and if I can't sell anything then I cant buy anything... I love this game but its starting to get boring because of this problem. I hope its fixed by having some sort of gold event very soon.
