update pet descriptions

pets like mephisto & Guinevere for example are extremely good, but the effect descriptions makes them look "normal". There's also rumours of meph giving 50% damage reduction too on top of what i think to be 35% damage..

tedious work to update them all i know, i've levelled all pets mythic and below to at least L3, trust me... i know..

but.. update these 2 descriptions, and perhaps a few more people love? XD

..looking for stats.. i recall them to be insane last time i checked. documentation of how insane would be nice/.

also this doesn't seem to be on "the list"..

I didn't independently verify all 400+ pets yet, but comparing Mephisto's and Guenivere's description to what they actually do:
* happiness bonus is identical
* arcane ability scales and the description is somewhat vague, but it doesn't include 50% damage reduction nor 35% damage since those aren't on the pet

Not sure where you're getting your info from here. Can you be more specific to what you're actually seeing vs. a rumor?

Mephisto's damage reduction works as expected. Without it my Rogue dies on the Fly Lord Orrick on the first skull hit.

All the Rogue that I've seen farmed in this Boss use this so they don't die, because we don't have a Skill that gives immortality for a few seconds.

Someone asked if it was even 50% damage reduction with the Mephisto AA.

it gives 50% dmg reduce and stacking(!) with other %dmg reduce things, intended?

Yes. This is intentional.

In the past, @CINCO said they would nerf the damage reduction of EVERYTHING.

So here is what I get from this: damage reduction, from a systemic perspective, needs to be adjusted to prevent Players' sustained immunity to damage. It's not specifically about Mephisto, though his AA's should probably be reviewed again after the damage reduction system has been addressed (to have a limit that addresses the core concern).

And he kept his promise. The nerf was added.

+ The Awakenings Extravaganza returns for two weeks beginning at 1:30PM Central, July 1st!
+ Deep discounts and special Awakenings are available during this limited time.
+ Other potions should no longer cause the Fish Oil elixirs to be removed.
+ Fish Oil elixirs that were used prior to this update will be restored to their owners soon.
+ Fixed icon on the xp Fish Oil elixirs.
+ Guild Halls can now have up to 500 Furnishing Slots added.
+ Twilight bombs can only affect a particular target once every 15 seconds.
+ Stacking Damage Mitigation now has diminishing returns beyond 70%.

Sorry, was looking at his scaling basic attacks, not his arcane ability. Yes, I see now that his arcane ability description is extremely vague. I think what I'm working on to generate the happiness bonus description can also be used to generate the AA description so you'll have the actual stats.

- I was referring to thhe AA though, It waas a rough guess (35%) and the damage reduction.. a few players told me, no extensive testing made by me.
