    Default About Aura

    Can you make all the auras spin around when a player is rotated (left or right) while viewing another player's profile? But the aura doesn't rotate (just stays still and moves as it should) when the player walks in any direction.

    Because what is happening now, there is an aura that stays still and moves as it should when the player walks in any direction and there is an aura that also moves in the direction the player is walking.

    I'm not sure I follow. I briefly walked around town inspecting random players and their auras rotated when inspecting. Which aura is it that is causing the problem?

    He means for example the winter king aura and set aura one spins the other one doesn't, this also happens with possessed set aura and lb aura one also doesn't spin and the other one does. Other ex. are witchfinder aura and blizz aura. But this has been a thing since the begining so I don't think there's anything that needs fixing

    I think the OP means that based on example of celtic fairy or mystic auras those just spin around themselves and not based on character movement. Lots of new auras had this thing implemented where aura spins adapting to character movement and yeah that would be nice to have all auras have the spinning effect not attached to character movement (like blizz, celtic, mystic auras etc.)

    Aka Ares/Twerrk/Mystery. :]

    Looks like there are several ways we have created auras:
    * no spin relative to world (always faces game north)
    * no spin relative to player (always faces player north)
    * spin relative to world (ignores player orientation)
    * spin relative to player (inherits player orientation)

    I don't think we're going to get player consensus as to how they should change, so they probably won't.

    If it's irreversible, may I ask Goblin Ruination Aura (Normal) to use Spin Relative to World (Ignores player orientation)? Because, as a user of that aura, it felt a bit strange that its "Round" shape should change when the player walked in all directions.

    I took a look at the Ruination aura and it does look pretty weird spinning when the player spins. I'll consult w/ the art team and figure out what we want to do here.
