Rogue stuff: Bd vs dex build
Is Boss Damage build still op for rogue? If it is, there's a series of questions below.
-is dex cheaper than bd?
-which of these is better with bd Pisces or Marianos?
-how much bd it needs to call it acceptable or decent?
-which set would deal more bd? Zaarus or Legend 3/6 with Sunken Armor?
I'm trying to figure out which build would deal more damage in E-Sunken especially with randoms with no warriors or anyone that could nuke boss, or rogues are bound to get carried in E Sunken by warriors?
BD is more expensive than Dex.
Dex is overall Good while BD only good against Bosses.
You'd need both Legend Set and Sunken. You need to proc Sunken and then switch to Legend Set while Sunken is active.
If I remember correctly, Sunken has 30sec cooldown so stay in Legend Set before attempting another Sunken proc.

Rogs that I see nuking are all using Zaarus set with pisces proc, pure dex awake build.

Dex > BD. Think about it, with dex you do the same damage with bd because most of the time when you go for bd you will not surpass maybe 200%. You will also not mix bd and dex usually considering how rare it is to find a dex + bd mix op item so you will have low dmg with high bd which just makes your damage the same as if you had a maxed out dex loadout.
Here is how I look at it.
200% bd with 5k damage 1k dex is 10k to a boss.
100 base bd but 2k dex 10k damage is 10k damage to a boss.

Ah that cleared my mind I was struggling because I had bd before 81 expansion and it does very high damage and it is clear that it's easy to get over 2k dex which I haven't achieved yet, but eventually I will pretty soon.
Maybe that's what troubling me because I haven't tried having a lot of dex before.

Very risky to have bd awake but low dex if you farm on elite sunken low hp with bd and you do not enough damage on mobs + farm deaths. Dex is the most important over all for rogue you can add bd/ed on your 2k dex using 2 locations 10%bd and 10%ed + heroic lammy +25% ed, and if you are a war maybe it is ok to have full bd.
And about marianos and pisces i think you need it both but you need to watch encryptions video about rogue + sunken+pisces + ultimate aim, he can kill elite zodias dragon fast but you need to be lucky to proc sunken + pisces at the same time every run + a good ping, that video can give you an idea, but for me marianos is better in esf boss because i dont have very good ping just like encryption.
For now, %dex more used than %bd. Pisces it seft give you 100%bd when proc.
