[COMMUNITY GLOBAL GOAL CHALLENGE] Unlocking Summer Fun!
Hello Legends! For those of us in the northern hemisphere, summer is almost officially at an end, but that doesn’t mean there’s not still fun to be had.
In this community contest, we’ll be coming together to meet a GLOBAL GOAL of entries to unlock special items for the whole community!
How it Works
- Visit the forums for 2 rounds of summer fun, (8/8 - 8/21) and (8/22 - 9/4).
- During each round, we’ll provide a prompt for screenshots. Post them in the contest thread to contribute to the global goal.
- Once the goal is met, the prize will be unlocked within 24 hours (if it is a weekend, it will be unlocked on Monday). Goal progress will also be updated every weekday (M-F) before 12pm CT.
Rewards
There are 2 exclusive summer-themed banners to unlock through this challenge! If you succeed in reaching the goal each round, a special vendor will appear to sell you the item.
The Searing Summer Sun Banner will be available for 150,000 gold and with be bound. The Legendary Realm Traveler Banner will be available for 50 platinum and will be trade-friendly.
Rules
The rules for this one are simple!
- 1 post per person
- Only post screenshots that are meant to progress the global goal.
- The word and count of the STS team is final. Unfortunately we won’t be able to field disputes on count/cheating/etc. We will be on the lookout for it though!
We know there are ways to artificially inflate a global goal in the forums, but for the sake of community fun and integrity, we ask that you have the honor of a Legend and play fairly! Cheating only robs someone else of the opportunity to play.
All goals have been created with the full confidence that the community can meet them together without resorting to any shenanigans.
Round 1 is already up, so go ahead and visit the Announcements Forum to find the pinned post and start working on that goal!
