I can imagine you would have annoyed a lot of people if u kept it at 30min because everyone is playing temple event right now where the runs take easyily 1hour+

maybe make it every 5minutes or 10 or 15 - feels a little spammy

It wasn't originally designed for a long shutdown period. It is what it is and in order to change it, it would require (gasp) a server update.
