I have the same situation. You gave me a good idea, I'll try it too. I didn't do it just because I kept having some problem with those stupid icons. I just simply couldn't trim or resize them. Since we recently standardized all proc cooldown icons, we'll soon be standardizing/adding proc availability icons as well. They will match the cooldown icons, but be green on gray to show ready instead of red on gray showing cooldown.
