I just Say wth with Eating Machine weapons

What happens to Spirit weapons? Something we do not know is the purpose of these weapons, why they show us as a good alternative when they really are a failure. How are you going to level up a weapon that can't even kill enemies on its own map. Maybe they should have worked their procs better and aim for better bonuses per level, the damage and stats don't make up for having to level up a weapon that takes too long. Don't waste your time and money leveling these weapons.
