Mainly because those 3D ones have already been done to death and we had a new idea to go with the 'Arlor Dragoon' - which gave way to some unique icon designs.
Yes, you could have just added a new 3D model, a dragon head with different design maybe.
The point is, that these 3D designed banners were some of the most sought after banners in the game.
In my opinion, the current top 50 banner for temple event looks worse than top 50 winter 2021 lb banner.
If not a 3D design, I think the most anticipated banner of the year deserves atleast an animation similar to the black eye from the winter event lb.

A +20% Damage Multiplier would equate to 1.2X non-stacking Damage.
Can you be more specific on this and explain us how it is supposed to work vs non stacking damage.
I was really looking forwards to dragon banners.. Can you guys work on some cool as hell aura to add to the lb rewards? Or even some cool looking back vanity.

Man, I really don't see anyone using these lb vanities. We were hoping for 3d modeled dragon heads on banners, even if you were to add the blue dragon head like the badge onto a banner and add it to top 10 solo lb that would be nice.
Its not even the helm and vest that makes the event rewards a let down its just the banners. Dragon event, kind of expected dragon banners. We slay the dragons and turn their heads into trophies which we wear on banners ignoring the law of physics.
