Changing/picking servers

Hello everyone, first sorry for the noob question. I just came across this game today and both my wife and I want to play in the same server but can't seem to find a way. Please let me know if there is a way to choose servers. Thank you

Are you both trying to use the same account twice?

There is currently only 1 realm/server, so you are definitely both on it. I'm gonna take a stab, and guess that you thought you were on different servers because you entered the same town and didn't see each other or something like that. However, there are several instances of each town at any given time because a single instance of a town can't exceed 25 people. Try adding your wife to your friends list, then you can join one another directly from the friends screen.

yeah server wise only alterra exists, and fnord is gone. however,there are gajillions of instances so I'd suggest just joining via friends list.
