Nightmare chests dont count for the guaranteed loot

Hey,
I just bought plat and planned on opening chests and try my luck, knowing that it would give me something decent/ok after 100 locks.
After spending 500 plat on Nightmare crates I see no difference on the Guaranteed loot bar.
I had a reason to believe it does, since event chests you can craft / buy from auc DID count before (for example in the kraken armor event when many people had 100% to loot kraken helm or armor after enough locks opened.) also it was never stated, that crafted crates which does have the same name as the store ones, will not count towards the guaranteed loot.

So i feel like this is unfair, and I was wondering if I could have my plat back (or a refund would be even better)

I wouldnt have bought plat in the first place if I knew that before.
