tanky mage need advice

i want to run a tank mage build for my proc set to use for tanking like a war and proc max items then swap to max dam

i need help with :

armor : how it works and that is the max value i can possibly crank it up to

health : with max armor hm helth is recommended provided im. not running a profiteer or kill ring oe samson

gems : do nature and diamond gems affect armor cap ?

is it worth it ? i already have tank armor awake zaar helm vest belt

For armor, last I remembered the cap was 8k. I'm not sure if it has changed at lvl 81.

I'm not able to answer the question for health since I'm not sure. Sorry, but if you're looking for more health, I would recommend heroic tsunami for happy bonus.

Gems wouldn't affect armor cap.

I don't think it is worth it (at least for pve) since there are procs that already make you super tanky. Additional health will help you survive enemies that reflect attacks however.

Like Kaz said it’s all about procs , that’s the best way to be a tank mage
Sapphire base pet + Aquarius + ebon ect ect

Throw out the diamonds go all mind- do pure int- use int awakes over armor or health if possible

Or wait for the next broken weapon proc XD
