Retroactively Apply "Stacking" Damage %

Would it be possible to retroactively apply this new "stacking damage percentage" to older items that offered damage percentage boosts?

This would avoid confusion, especially since these new stacking damage vanity sets and the new arcane ring are so popular right now (and I'm sure the concept of stacking %s will be used moving forward).

The "Jack" pumpkin pet offers 25% damage but it doesn't stack, same with the elite 105 and mythic 110 blarney amulets. (There may be other 'old' items that offer damage percentage boosts, but these came to mind.) There is also "The Aventurine Shield" vanity item that offers a 5% damage boost, etc.
