These past 2-3 events have just ate through some of these players (including myself) wallets. Ive spent at-least 30k plat over the last 2-3 months and have received little to no rewards, not only that… but countless hours farming the events just to waste the tokens on unlocked crates and getting absolutely nothing more then a 1k gold exchange rate. Typically when new items are released, you expect them to ya know…drop somewhere. But this event the kraken daggers have turned into the lepre banner of 2015 rarity. Yes they are insane, yes they are op, and yes they are new.. that’s exactly why players that have devoted the time and money should atleast reap the benefits of it. It shouldnt take 600 lock openings to receive one arcane with a value of probably 100m.. that’s literally 300 crates at 15 plat each=4500 plat… just shy of $300USD! Like come on seriously? Dead game title? Recolored vanities since 2017? Game developers coming on to turn into palm trees and coconuts and walking around the map? Making last minute updates that ruin the experience of LB runners? Creating daggers that one tap any boss in the game? Meaningless Random “:/“ public chats from devs that have little to no importance? These are all things that have your players including myself.. questioning the time spent on the game and worth of it in the long run. Its all positive feedback, trying to spare the time of other players,keep them playing, and save the revenue of the company to keep your pockets smiling! Ily guys.. but professionalism, gratitude, and commitment to your critical assets we can all agree would be amazing to sustain in AL.

Over 18k plat on locked rogue only + 600 pulls 15 plat chest. My loot was hanfull mytics worth 30m total + 1 arcane drop containing 1mil gold.

This could be spended on 10x deadpool aura giving me roughly 800m+,

Choose to open crates in hopes for more new weapons but drop rates shows it isn't fair....

Wy there is no 300 guarantee on a 100% price increased chest makes me wonder.

Certainly last time il spend plat on locks certainly last time il invest alot of money into this game.

Once i seen they added guaranteed loot that only tells you how incredibly bad the drop rates are.

People actually think they will loot something from the puny Unlocked crates they give out on every event now. Ill save you some trouble, Unlock Crate Rewards are bad rewards and you won't loot anything

Until they start pulling their finger out their behinds, I’ve been emailing support about this shiiiii for years and all the recommend is to make a forum post about it. Make a post just to get humiliated from this toxic community.

I already posted about my sentiments on locks and drop rates, but I'll share them here:

It's been kinda frustrating with how high-end gear availability is. It's always really fun and exciting to try new pieces of gear, but it really sucks that we have to wait months just for those new pieces of gear to drop down to a fairly reasonable price. Of course I'm not saying that arcane/mythic gear should be given out like candy, but I just don't think it is fun going through this cycle of constantly waiting on top of waiting. There is a place for crazy rare items, but I'd prefer if that stays on cosmetics and emphasized a bit less on gear.

the rng is a reoccurring and frustrating issue that has lingered with locks for years and is what discourages players from opening them. If you spend 1700-3400 platinum and you don’t get an arcane item that is a problem. I understand that money needs to be made, but that is a really big investment for 1 item and that must be respected. Mythics are really cheap now. I don’t remember if they are lootable in elite zodias, but if they are not, put them in the loot pool, and rework how the guaranteed loot system works. Something like every 100 pulls you get an ingredient. 1 of this ingredient allows you to craft a mythic chest, and 3 for an arcane chest or a heroic chest.

What bums me out is that we probably won't get any dev response here on forums since it seems like they don't respond to feedback concerning locks and drop rates (probably for investor reasons). I do wish we had more transparency on this. Lock rng has plagued the game since the very beginning (10 years!) and it's been an unaddressed problem for WAY too long. I want to support this game, but locks make that difficult when it feels like I'm spending money on nothing. Opening locks should be for getting high-end gear faster, not the sole source of getting them.

Lockeds is gamble, you cant blame that on the game. If you want to get gold with ur plat u dont open lockeds if you want to get rich you dont go to the casino not games fault, its ur fault gambling is a risk, if you arent prepared to take it and are going to cry in forums abt it, well, you shouldn’t gamble at all

(Towards sts) One way of fixing this issue is stop being incompetent and add a list where ppl can see % drop rate of arcane/mythic/vanity etc etc, so they can calculate the risk they are taking and not open blindly then blaming you. You also have a fault in this!
