Turkey is now Turkiye
Dear STS team, I would like to state that the name of my country has changed globally in the past months. The original name of my country, which was called Turkey, is now in the world as Turkiye. Would you please update Turkey Banner as Turkiye Banner?

Sorry, according to the US State Department, the officially recognized name is Turkey. If this page is ever updated (link), we'll reconsider.

C’mon, don’t use our government red tape as an excuse. It’s their name and our ignorance. I like the spelling difference between a bird and a nation of people. The media already spells Kiev differently now... in respect to Ukrainians.
