    Default Experience Kits

    Hello!

Congratulations to all the Legends who were able to cap Level 115 before the fast cap deadline and receive the rewards!

Considering the fast cap is over with now, I wanted to suggest unlocking experience kits for all levels, that way, players who do not have time to grind this cap can now use Experience Kits to reach Level 115.

This solution will also help players (including myself) reach Level 115 on their alternate characters. I do not have time with work and other things in life to achieve capping 115 on 5 different characters.

This solution will also raise the player base of capped players, raising daily activity for those players. I do hope Cinco and STS will consider this, helping players who stocked up on Experience Kits knowing they would not have the time to cap Level 115.

    Thank you for reading!

You can easily level up in the current event so I don't really think there's a need for it, atleast for now. They even made the new mythic gears lootable, making the new endgame campaign only purpose now is farming for Dragon Fangs.

I think enabling XP kits is a great idea. It will allow players to not only have more than 1 toon capped, It could help with future balancing/activity at end game/more players all around capping. I myself would greatly appreciate being able to use XP kits to cap my other 4 toons, I don't have the time like I use to years ago to cap 5 toons... +1 for this idea.

I'm not against the idea, even though I don't personally like XP-kits or XP-orbs - but I just find it funny how dependent everyone is from XP kits : D

I remember when everyone wanted the new cap be like "leveling like old days" - and then STS released the L105-110 CAP without XP orbs or XP kits - but then everyone started complaining why XP-orbs and XP-kits are not abailable on 105-110 CAP. They tried their best to listen the community by doing 105-110 CAP completly without XP-orbs and -Kits, but it's fact that you can't always please everyone, and there is always some crowd of people complaining about everything they do.

My opinion from the beginning has been that the XP-kits were a mistake and XP-orbs should be possible to disabled via settings - because I want to level up one of my characters completely without XP-orbs, but at this point I've lost hope that they'll ever make it possible for me.

The purpose of this is to help old players who been playing this game for years that are now adults with responsibilities cap their players so they can still play the game they love/loved.

Nothing against PvE grinders, you guys are free to do whatever you choose to do. I don’t have anything against it. But when it comes down to players who don’t have the time to cap multiple toons when this cap is pretty difficult to achieve unless you grind hard, it’s almost impossible for some.

I, myself, want to be able to enjoy all my characters without putting a basic 40 hour work week into the game. I have time to play occasionally, which in that time id rather not spend leveling.

Everybody has their opinion and I do understand yours.

As for the “old days” I’m sure you understand, that was then, this is now. Pocket Legends was a big part of my childhood, I had time back then to get straight into the grind after school with no other worries in the world.

I’m sure many people are in the same situation as I am, I have a lot of things preventing me from playing PL as much as I use to, therefore, I’d like to use the experience kits I purchased in order to level my characters so I can do what I enjoy as a capped player.

If you have the time to cap multiple toons the OG way, good for you. The point I’m making here is not everybody does now.

I fully support the use of xp kits.

I have helped my guild with the award of the Fast cap and many others with advice how to cap quickly.

What to wear, which elixirs to use, where to level for what levels and which map. My guide to fast cap evolved over time with new techniques and learning from others.

I understand there needs to be a period where, players need to experience the grind to level to 115 to be a more better player and not be so noob when learning the merchanics of the new Campaign and to learn how to play their class.

This new campaign was launched on the 16th November 2022. It has only been 5 weeks since it has been released.

Yes I agree that xp kits should be enabled to allow others to cap too, however, I do understand why they are not yet. It is still too soon.

We should wait at least 2 months or more before these xp kits are enabled to allow players to experience the grind of levelling up, as well as learning how to craft the new 115 sets as well as learning how to play their individual classes.

This event is amazing, it is very easy to cap to 115 if you place some effort into the grind, if you have time, as well as looting the new 115 mythic equipment.

Xp orbs and kits drop very frequently, for characters under level 115. Cinco did an amazing job with the loot table this year for the Escort Father Frost map.

He took out the useless elite and legendary 115 loot, we only loot 115 mythic and xp orbs as well as xp kits and vanity items nothing else. I applaud the one's in STS who created the loot table this year for this event. It was well thought about and considered.

I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.

Yes, I can support it being later down the road like 1-2 months, just want to ensure the option will eventually be there.

I understand your situation, I've missed years of content from the game because of irl reasons. But I won't asked to make things easier for myself when I know it would affect others and the game as a whole. Its just way too early to enable the use of xp kits rn, specially if you can level up easily on the current event.

I don’t understand, making it easier for other players who don’t have time to cap does not affect you or any other player that wants to level the original way. If you want to do it that way, knock yourself out, no one is going to stop you.

It will increase endgame activity because it allows more people who aren’t motivated for the huge grind, and I feel that should be the end goal here. Having more 115 players in the game helps both the PvE and PvP situations.

I also missed out on content, but it is not like I’m asking him to bring back anything from previous events or previous fast caps. I’m asking Cinco to allow the use of Experience Kits for the players who want to use them, it’s always an option.

I am in no way asking for any old items or any fast cap rewards to return, I just want to see the game active again and this would be an easy solution.

Do you really think making players spam xp kits on there alts will make the game more active?
Look at the old maps, is there anyone even running it? No one, because one of its main purpose which is leveling is now gone mainly because of xp kits.

Yes, I do believe it will increase activity.

The current state of PL is not beginner friendly, the economy is destroyed and there’s nothing under 1M gold. Also, leveling the legit way considering it is literally so much EXP needed from Level 1-115 it will make new or returning players lose interest very quickly.

Having EXP Kits allows new or returning players to get a head start and they can then farm for gear to sell or the gear that they need for end game, anything in the lower level maps is now almost completely useless.

Imo it will not, players won't run the new campaign if they can level up through xp kits.
Players who actually have the xp kits to level are mostly the same people who already have a L115 toon anyway. Capped players won't really need another Lv115 alt/s when the main focus of farming is Dragon Fang tokens, now that there's ton of new mythic gears. So multiple toons of Lv115 of the same player won't really help making the game active.

We're all aware of that problem. Returning or new players won't even have the ability to even purchase xp kits forcing them to grind, and without active players running in the maps it will just make leveling for them harder and more discouraging. And the demand on xp kits will just skyrocket once made usable for Lv110+.

I just really wanted to atleast retain the activity in endgame, and players to actually play outside of the events. Let's just leave it as is it for now.

The activity will continue at endgame, it will go up a lot considering we will have more capped players. EXP Kits are literally dirt cheap right now because of the event dropping them (I’ve seen them at 30k each) meaning it will not be a problem for new players or returning players to purchase them assuming they don’t already have some stashed.

In my opinion, the current state of endgame should be a lot more alive than it is, and EXP Kits will wake it up because as previously stated, not everyone wants to grind PvE like that. Some people have the preference to grind PvE hard, some do not.

The option needs to be there for players that don’t play the game for only PvE, but in the same sense it helps the PvE community too. In this event, players who are farming for vanities do not even allow lower level players in their games, because it is impossible to compete unless you have the best gear at Level 115. So those players that are left in the dust, forced to farm Escort over Gauntlet because no one will allow them in the games to farm the expensive items like everyone else, are treated very unfairly.

The solution would be unlocking EXP Kits for all levels so players can compete without dying easy, along with actually enjoying the event and farming for the vanities everyone wants.

In conclusion, this change is needed to increase activity in my opinion.

You're right they are cheap now because of the event, but after that what do you think would happen? How much xp kits do you think it will need to level up? That will not be cheap in the long run.
Every players, new, returning or actively playing will now be dependent to level up using xp kits because no one would run to level up anymore, just like the previous cap.

Before the introduction of exp kits, player/s who wants to level up will need to run through campaigns, I know that's a grind, but that's what makes the game more active. Leveling through each campaign with friends or meeting new ones, learning your class (like cmon there's tons of Lv110-115 scatter bears), there's demand on different level gears because its needed to level up so loots while leveling is worth it, it is a process. I really miss those times.
But now players can level up from Lv1 to 110 in a few minutes without touching any maps. I know exp kits are made to aid players on leveling, but imo its actually killing the activity in game.

The main focus of the game now are events. The best gears, vanities, pets, items, everything worthy in the auction are all from the 'limited time' events. So if you miss one, you're force to buy them at ridiculous prices. Making a huge gap on players who can actively play to those who can't and most of events aren't new players friendly. I understand that that's what brings Sts the income now, but its making the game not worth playing outside of it, specially if they gonna make whats farmable in campaigns lootable during events.

Overall I guess I just really hate exp kits and whats the game is now and really miss the old times lol.

the fastest way to level without events is to level in other maps with an xp enable elixir instead of running molten mountain. if you have plat that you're willing to spend, there is literally no point in running molten mountain to level because it takes significantly longer especially considering you need to find a full game whereas you can use xp enable elixir to level solo easily.

new sets are also not worth crafting. the stats are only very slightly better than non crafted myth gear and the procs make no difference in pve (and dont work in pvp). the health procs are useless because you already have enough health to survive, the helm proc is useless because you don't need more than 4x speed and the farming map is tiny anyway + it doesnt give much speed, and the dmg proc for 2h weapons is almost useless when volta dagger is still the best weapon in the game for dps and killing bosses fast. so why play the molten mountain campaign at all? vanity drop? i havent seen a single vanity armor drop in over a month of new cap and if there are any in game there are less than a handful.

playing the new campaign seems like an incredible waste of time. so much grinding for so little reward.
