Added item sets (collections of items that give additional bonuses when equipped)

I've not heard anything other than the fact it's coming.

I imagine they'll work like items sets in any game, they have basic stat bonuses, which are either enhanced the more parts of the set you have equipped, or new bonuses are added on (or both )
