this can‘t be real that you think that 5% dmg and +5 primary stats buffs the zodias set…feels like my lvl 76 legendary gun does even more dmg than a zodias gun

I think dev didnt use this eating machine weapon thats why they dont know what is missing and why this eating machine called garbage, it needs a proc cd and proc chance buffs, make it just like 5-10 hits for success proc and cd need to be shorter.

Why is the aura available on the new year eve and new year's 1st day only? In chinese culture we celebrate mostly the first 3 days of new year, which is 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

The Zodias Eating Machine Spirit Gear Set buff is meant to encourage leveling-up.

It fits with the theme of Lunar New Year's Mythic (and craftable Arcane) accessories that give bonuses to Spirit XP.

DPS (average and maximum) of the Level 60 Eating Machine weaponry is comparable to 81 Mythics - so I don't think they need to be buffed in that regard. However I do think that reevaluating the proc activation mechanisms would be worthwhile :-)

Can you share some footage of the damage? Would be nice to know if the grind is even worth it, when I can just buy a mythic weapon for 500k Gold…

I kinda get why you buff the set bonus, since any sunk armor proc is a better DPS pairing than the set itself.

But isn't this buff abit too little? Unless the main purpose of zod set is for LB/speed, why not just increase move speed instead of dmg?


Level 60 zod weapons maybe comparable in damage to mythics, but we still have to level them up first, no? Granted I'll argue that some weapon like zod bow is a good 600k per tick with the right buffs/procs.

Most of the other weapons don't share this DPS.
