Wanted to ask fellow arlorians, if it is safe to play AL using a VPN

Since my ping keeps fluctuating, without using a vpn, probably because i live really far away from the main space-time hq or something.

However when i am connected to a vpn, ping doesn't fluctuate at all, and i am able to play without any visible fluctuation.

But still worried about whether or not it is legal to play using a vpn, since i would be connected to a location which wouldn't be my actual location.

As long as I don't do any plat offers while connected to a vpn, would i still be fine or not?

Using a VPN is completely safe, it was already confirmed by sts...... Except if you are using vpn to get better plat offers.
