List for all damage reduction types and how they work
can we please get a list for all damage reduction types and how they work?
most people know how armor, damage reduction and damage reduction stacking works
but things like - armor mitigation - damage resistance - are things that i still dont understand and im sure many others also dont

my skill is so good I placed first and 2nd in temple without knowing that and I was using 2.1k dex set with fortified jewels thats how good i am

Damage resistance = damage reduction.
Damage multiplier = damage (Nonstacking).

@championboost tell the devs to rename because it can be confusing. there's no reason to give something a new name if it's not doing anything new.
there's also a lot things they dont mention.
your toons basic attack damage
your toons skill damage
pet basic attack damage
pet skill damage
enemies basic attack damage
enemies skill damage
almost all d.o.ts that come from you and that you apply count as skill damage.
blighted amulet and arc cryo amulet were nerfed in secret. there was a time those amulets could proc ebon staff and ebon aegis. during that time those items did Skill damage that counted as your own.
magma aa counts as your skill damage.
this is why magma aa can force proc items.
"all source of skill damage cant be dodged"
there's also reflect damage and probably another one or 2 i dont remember.
if a boss hits you with skill damage it can't be dodged at least from my understanding. the reason why the game is like this is because of rogue.

the reason why i blame rogue is because when you look at old war items with procs.
items proced on basic attack swing not when damage was delt. this was to bypass rogues having high dodge. if the old items proced on basic attack damage the items would be harder to proc on rogues.
rogues also could dodge pet passives because they count as basic attacks . which means they had a high chance of dodging debuffs, and immobilizers like stun, freeze, and paralyze.

I don’t think people hate him they just find him extremely annoying due to him continuously making a fool of himself on forums and in game and still continues talking about how he’s “the #1 rogue in arlor” bc he won a couple of events that skilled players decided to skip.
It’s quite amusing actually to see him post on forums you can be sure that the threads will be fun to read. Eventually when he grows up he will realize how foolish his words and actions are but by then nobody will care about him much less arcane legends.
