About the re-colored vanity.

Many feel that the vanity velentine theme actually feels less nuanced in romance, especially for vanity leaderboard, and maybe for some people the quality of vanity is getting lower from time to time. So in my opinion why not re-dye the existing vanity with a good and appropriate coloring or if you intend... you can develop the existing vanity again. for example by re-dyeing Vampyre armor rogue from black to red or white with the addition of roses as accessories, in my opinion it would be great if the red or white colors match because vampyre armor rogue is the best formal vanity in arcane legends, then you can also modify The vanity marriage dress has bloodstains on it or a motif added to make it more attractive than usual. As long as coloring or re-modifying an old vanity fits the theme and the colors are good, I think it should work fine. Instead of making a new one but many don't like it or feel it doesn't fit.

Well, but a lot of clothes in the real world are just re-colored or modified, even Nike shoes have lots of variants. It doesn't need to be different all the time, except that the different ones are like big game developers whose costume designs are truly extraordinary. or yahh it's true that sts have to be creative they can just take real world references or other rpg games. Re-coloring can be ugly as is the case with the luck set which is completely colored full green. Making from scratch is indeed difficult, maybe that's why a forum for vanity design creativity is opening soon, sts must set the example of the Wolvesville game developer who is very open there and many of the game costumes come from the creativity of the players, making the game survive even after the pandemic is over by selling nice and unique costumes.

+1 ... at least bring back the hearts in the vendor.. this event doesnt scream valentine at all lol half of the vanities are halloween themed.

The best is to give us the ability to tweak a bit the colors of existing vanitys , from small color palette with gold like the color body's on magic mirror.

I think sts is trying to make vanities that will be worn past the Holidays they come out during. Which makes total sense. Everyone knowns that once a Holiday passes not many people wants to wear the strongly themed stuff.

Not alot of people want to where a Santa claus set or a pumpkin head in August. Im sure you get what i mean. Love & heart stuff is a little different but not much. Then all the strong themed stuff ends up marked as cheap low grade items in the auction and sits there for ever.

Just my opinion.

The only vanities I would like to see recolored are the brown sets. Cuz they blend in with the ground.

Hey! Im brown. well a little blacker than brown but still. You wouldnt know it by the color of my mage (hint hint to sts) lol just messing with ya. I see your point on the serious side but in all honesty some people like to blend in with the backgrounds. Camo style :-)

A couple of us have been asking for heart banners in the preview, but we got no response because it didn't bring enough attention.

Another thing I want to mention is, I get that many think the event isn't valentine-y enough, but you're forgetting the fact that it's mixed with Lovecraft's stories about Cthulhu (horror) and has always been. Though, I agree that there are barely any valentine items in vendor this year.

I also think, as the old stuff (generally) looks better than the new ones we are getting - or not getting - people have just started to settle for less. Ergo, lowered expectations with time result in people asking for recolored items instead of getting nothing at all.

And if you're not satisfied with an item or vanity, the response you'll likely get is "hush and be grateful for this stick or don't use it".
